Job summary

Midwest Alarm Services seeks a dedicated team member to learn and assist with service, test and repair of electronic life safety systems, including fire alarms, in commercial and industrial settings. Starting pay is $18 with increases based on licensing and experience.

Responsibilities include inspections, maintenance, and delivering excellent customer service while upholding safety and regulatory standards. A company vehicle and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain a specified license to perform work in the security industry according to state rules and regulations.
• Valid driver’s license and pre-employment background checks.
• NICET level certification within a prescribed time frame.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in inspections and fire alarm systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform fire protection inspections and preventive maintenance on client fire alarm systems.
• Communicate effective and organized technical information to clients.
• Complete and submit all required task-related documentation in a timely manner.
• Be proficient at, and train others, to follow a structured inspection schedule.
• Maintain professional interactions with customers and vendors in a respectful manner.
