Job description

Apprentice Equipment Operator - Streets, Stormwater and Solid Waste

Apply now to join the City of Loveland as an Apprentice Equipment Operator. This is a two-year, 4,000-hour registered apprenticeship program recognized by the U.S. Department of Labor.

Position Details

The starting hourly rate is $20.70. Apprentices will earn their Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and certifications necessary for a career as an Equipment Operator. Successful completion of the program may lead to pay increases.

Additional Information

Apprentices must sign an agreement and commit to the full program. The CDL training cost is repayable if the apprentice resigns or is terminated for cause within 24 months.

This is an essential personnel position required to respond to community emergencies.
