Job summary

Minards Electric LLC in Dickinson, ND is seeking an Apprentice Electrician to learn the trade hands-on alongside experienced electricians, supporting residential, commercial, and industrial installations.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, enrollment in an apprenticeship program, physical ability to lift 50 lbs, valid driver's license, and a strong work ethic. You will train through our apprenticeship program and gain licensure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Enrolled in or willing to enroll in a state-approved electrical apprenticeship.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and electrical safety practices.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to learn and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist journeyman and master electricians with residential, commercial, and industrial electrical installations
• Pull wire, run conduit, and install electrical panels, outlets, switches, and fixtures
• Read and interpret basic electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site in compliance with OSHA and NEC standards
• Troubleshoot and assist in diagnosing electrical issues under supervision
• Transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites as needed
• Participate in apprenticeship training program and coursework to advance licensure
