Job summary

Torgeson Electric Company in Kansas offers an apprentice electrician position where you’ll work alongside skilled electricians on various job sites to build a solid foundation in the trade.

The role involves assisting with underground rough-in, conduit installation, circuit and feeder pulling, and equipment installation, with a focus on safety and daily pre-job planning. Travel to Northeast Kansas may be required; lodging is provided if needed. OSHA 10 required.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Follow safety policies and procedures at all times.
• PPE required for all duties.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug test.
• Some travel to job sites in Northeast Kansas may be required.
• OSHA 10 is required (cost reimbursed upon completion).

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled electricians and learn on the job.
• Gain hands-on experience with underground rough-in, interior wall and above ceiling conduit installation, circuit and feeder pulling, fixture installation, and troubleshooting.
• Complete a daily pre-job safety plan for the work being performed.
