Job summary

Torgeson Electric Company is currently seeking skilled Electricians to install electrical systems in the construction industry at job sites. Journeyman electricians are preferred and must be knowledgeable in the National Electrical Code and local jurisdictions.

The pay starts at $30.00+ per hour with 40+ hours per week. Travel allowance and lodging are provided as needed, and a comprehensive benefits package includes PTO, paid holidays, 401K with employer match, ESOP, and health/dental insurance.

Qualifications

• Journeyman license preferred but not required.
• Apprenticeship or equivalent work experience (8,000 hours) required.
• Ability to effectively communicate.
• Follow safety policies and procedures at all times.

Responsibilities

• Installation of electrical systems.
• Direct and train apprentice to install, maintain, modify and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment.
• Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches and switch gears.
• Ability to interpret prints and generate RFIs for projects.
• OSHA 10 required (reimbursement available upon completion).
• Quality control of electrical installation and ensuring jobsite safety.
• Fill out daily pre-job safety plan for the work that will be performed.

Req. Experience

Journeyman's License preffered but not required. Competition of an apprenticeship or equivalent work experience (8,000 hours) required.
