Job summary

Pacific Northern Environmental LLC (AET) seeks an Apprentice Electrician to support Journeyman Electricians across commercial and industrial sites. The role emphasizes hands-on learning, safety, and code compliance, with travel to various job sites and a focus on developing electrical skills.

The position requires enrollment in a WA/OR approved apprenticeship and a WA/OR electrical license, plus a valid driver's license and a minimum of one year of industrial electrical experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Enrolled in WA/OR approved apprenticeship program and current Washington or Oregon State Electrical Apprentice License
• Must have a minimum of 1 year of industrial electrical experience
• Interest in working in an electrical industrial environment or previous work exp. strongly preferred
• Current First Aid certification preferred
• May be required to meet facial hair standards per OSHA 1910.34

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain company vehicles as required for job duties
• Learn from Journeyman Electrician and complete assigned duties
• Assist with installation of electrical systems per blueprints and NEC codes in commercial buildings and industrial facilities
• Pull wire, install conduit, lighting systems, panels, and other components
• Identify, analyze, troubleshoot, and assist with repairs of equipment and faults
• Follow safety practices and PPE protocols
• Travel to various sites to assist Journeyman; maintain organization and tool accountability
• Read blueprints/schematics and site plans; update work logs and client accounts
• Communicate with clients professionally and coordinate with other trades
• Attend safety briefings and site meetings as required
• Respond to direction from Foreman and Project Managers
• Maintain punctual and regular attendance
• Work collaboratively in a team environment
• Other duties as assigned
