Job summary

Dvorak, LLC is seeking an Apprentice Electrician to join our field team and learn from experienced electricians while building a long-term career. You will support installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems under supervision, gaining practical knowledge through on-site learning.

The role emphasizes hands-on training, safety adherence, and collaboration with team members to meet project deadlines. A state-approved apprenticeship and OSHA certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred for entry.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions on site.
• Reliable, organized, and able to lift up to 50 lb.

Responsibilities

• Work under supervision of a Master or Journeyman Electrician on tasks.
• Identify, analyze, troubleshoot, and perform electrical work on sites.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics accurately.
• Measure, cut, bend, install wire and conduit; connect fittings.
• Inspect for loose connections and insulation issues, repair as needed.
• Drill, pull wiring, strip insulation, assist soldering.
• Install copper ground rods and ensure proper grounding safety.
• Keep the work area clean, stage materials, assist with docs.
• Log work and assist with project duties and collaborations.
• Follow safety policies and participate in toolbox talks.
