Dvorak, LLC in the Mid-Atlantic region is seeking an Apprentice Electrician to join our field team. You will learn from experienced electricians while assisting with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems on commercial projects.

This hands-on role emphasizes safety, practical knowledge, and career growth, with a clear path toward licensure, a family-oriented team, and competitive hourly pay based on apprenticeship hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• Reliable transportation
• Mechanical aptitude, strong problem‑solving skills, and willingness to learn
• Reliable, organized, and able to follow instructions accurately
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly (occasionally up to 75 lbs)
• Prior construction or electrical experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of a Master or Journeyman Electrician to complete assigned tasks
• Assist with identifying, analyzing, troubleshooting, and performing electrical work on job sites
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
• Measure, cut, bend, and install wire and conduit; thread conduit ends and connect couplings
• Inspect electrical units for loose connections or insulation issues and make repairs
• Drill holes, pull/push wiring, strip insulation, and assist with soldering connections
• Install copper-clad ground rods and ensure grounding meets safety standards
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist with material staging and cleanup
• Update work logs and assist with administrative project duties as directed
• Collaborate with team members, subcontractors, and vendors to meet project deadlines
• Adhere to all safety policies, OSHA/state regulations, and participate in toolbox talks and safety training
