Job summary

CEC Companies in Santa Teresa, NM is seeking an Apprentice Electrician to support installation, alteration and repair of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings. You will work under a Journeyman and Master Electrician, learning the trade while maintaining a safe work environment.

This safety sensitive role requires a HS diploma or GED, and an annually renewed State Electrical Apprentice license (TX). Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Must obtain and renew annually a State approved Electrical Apprentice License (TX license).

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, maintain and test electrical equipment and wiring systems in a commercial and industrial setting.
• Prepare work area for installation of equipment.
• Install or assist in installing electrical components.
• Connect wiring and equipment as per code and job specification.
• Keep materials, tools, and equipment organized and area clean at all times.
• Demonstrate safe work habits and proper care of tools and equipment.
• Assist in wire pulls, mounting, and strapping.
• Understand and comply with safety requirements at all times.
• Produce quality of work meeting NEC and company standards.
• Maintain positive attitude and adhere to company policies.
