Compensation

• $20-28 per hour, depending on experience

Job Responsibilities

• Perform onsite work as directed by field supervisors and foremen and assist other team members where needed
• Example tasks: installing raceways, pulling wire, mounting equipment, assembling and installing parts and pieces, trimming outlets and fixtures
• Be efficient with time and materials while ensuring the installation meets code requirements
• Use and take care of the protective equipment and safety gear provided and always follow safety procedures
• Identify potential process improvements and share them with field supervisors and foremen
• Arrive to the job site on time, track apprenticeship hours, and complete timesheets accurately

Qualifications

• Eagerness to learn the electrical trade and/or prior experience as an electrical apprentice
• Efficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving in a timely manner
• Provide the necessary strength and stamina for a job that involves occasional heavy lifting and flexibility
• Be able to act on the instructions from a supervisor and work well alone or as a member of a team
• Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and electronic test equipment is a plus
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
