Job summary

GMEA Electrical Services in Katy, TX is seeking an Electrical Apprentice to help install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on commercial and industrial projects. You will assist with conduit, wiring, and equipment installations while learning from Journeymen and Foremen.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of electrical experience, reads blueprints, follows NEC standards, and adheres to safety policies. A valid driver's license is required for site travel and material transport.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience
• Experience bending and installing conduit
• Experience pulling wire and assisting with equipment installations
• Ability to read and interpret basic electrical drawings and blueprints
• Familiarity with NEC standards and construction site safety practices
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift, carry, and move construction materials and equipment
