Job summary

Crimson Group is hiring an Electrical Apprentice to grow with our field team across New Mexico and Texas. You will work alongside licensed electricians on commercial, industrial, and energy-related projects, gaining hands-on experience while pursuing an apprenticeship.

Primarily Monday through Friday, 10-hour days, with occasional longer rotations and travel. Applicants should be enrolled or willing to enroll in a registered apprenticeship; basic tools and computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in or willing to enroll in a registered electrical apprenticeship program.
• Basic knowledge of common hand tools and their safe use.
• Basic computer skills, including email, electronic timesheets, and mobile applications.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist journeyman and master electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
• Safely use and maintain hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Pull wire, install conduit, terminate electrical devices, and assist with equipment installation.
• Follow project plans, drawings, and supervisor instructions.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Travel to project sites as required.

Work Schedule:

• Some projects may require extended rotations of up to 21 consecutive workdays.
• Occasional overtime, weekends, and out-of-town travel may be required based on project needs.
