Join to apply for the Apprentice Diesel Tech-Mechanic role at TravelCenters of America.

We are seeking a Diesel Technician to join our team! As a Diesel Mechanic, you will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heavy-duty trucks and trailers, providing accurate and efficient service within industry standards.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Work in a positive environment focused on exceeding customer expectations.
  2. Perform diagnostic testing, interpret results, develop repair plans, and communicate with the Service Advisor.
  3. Repair malfunctioning parts and equipment safely and effectively.
  4. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  5. Recommend additional TA services during inspections.
  6. Ensure safety of customers and employees.
Qualifications
  • Team-oriented individual with enthusiasm to join our team.
  • High School Diploma or GED; trade school or mechanic experience preferred.
  • Willingness to pursue further education and training.
  • Ability to work independently and flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks with or without accommodations.

Pay Range

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
