Salary Range: $30.00 - $37.00 Hourly

Job Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosis, troubleshoot, and make necessary repairs, including but not limited to diesel engines, chassis, axles, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles.
  • Conduct failure analysis, repairs, and components correctly, including but not limited to differentials, transfer cases, and axles.
  • Conduct overhauls as needed during off-season (December - March).
  • Perform service calls for emergency breakdowns during peak season (April - November).
  • Work with Drivers on vehicle concerns and outstanding maintenance issues.
Qualifications & Culture

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience (diesel engines/heavy equipment preferred)
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • The ability to handle complex repairs
  • Ability and comfortability to work on 6ft/8ft ladders
  • The drive and willingness to learn and grow within Boston Duck Tours
  • Valid Driver's License
  • CDL preferred, not required (Additional $1.50 p/hr.)
  • Welding knowledge preferred, not required (Additional $1.50 p/hr.)

Due to the safety-sensitive nature of this position, employees must meet DOT/FMCSA requirements (including pre-employment and random drug & alcohol testing).

Pay:

  • At least $30.00 per hour
  • $4,000 Sign-On and Retention Bonus
  • Generous Yearly Bonus

Schedule:

Two Shifts Available

  • Sunday – Wednesday 11:00am – 9:00pm
  • Wednesday – Saturday: 11:00am – 9:00pm
