Job Overview

The Apprenticeship Program is a targeted 12-month program committed to cultivating and developing future Technicians and Mechanics. The program includes on-the-job training, classroom learning, mentorship from Sr. Leadership, and other learning opportunities. It aims to inspire a purpose-driven career. The Apprentice Technician will learn preventive maintenance and repairs on various equipment, enrolled in a training program that provides both on-the-job and classroom instruction. This role prepares teammates for potential full-time mechanic/technician positions based on performance and business needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Achieve learning objectives, demonstrate proficiency, and meet milestones in rotations.
• Collaborate with peer coaches and leadership, providing high-quality service to customers.
• Travel within the territory to learn from various leaders and technicians.
• Complete coursework and maintain performance standards both in classroom and on-the-job.
• Perform electrical and mechanical diagnostics and repairs under mentorship, including material handling, trailers, and diesel equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Dependable, trustworthy, timely, self-motivated, good communication skills, able to follow instructions.
• Need to obtain CDL A license by the end of the program.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs with or without accommodation.

Work Environment

Noisy, wet, and extreme temperature conditions.
