Job summary

NS Giles Foundations Inc in Bangor, ME is seeking a Commercial Concrete Laborer to join our team. You will assist with setting up forms, pouring and finishing concrete, and keeping tools and equipment maintained.

The role requires physical stamina, safety focus, ability to read plans, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. OSHA 10 certification preferred; reliable transportation and willingness to travel are a plus.

Qualifications

• OSHA 10 certification required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 80 pounds occasionally.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Willingness to travel, including overnight stays.
• Construction experience not required but helpful; able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Set up and dismantle concrete forms.
• Assist in pouring and finishing concrete.
• Read and interpret plans, instructions, and specifications.
• Signal equipment operators to align and move machinery.
• Maintain clean job sites and safe work areas.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
