Job summary

N.S. Giles Foundations Inc. is seeking a Commercial Concrete Laborer to assist with the construction and finishing of concrete projects in Bangor, ME. You will help prepare sites, set up forms, pour and finish concrete, and maintain tools and equipment in a fast-paced team environment.

The role requires physical stamina, attention to safety, and the ability to read plans, follow instructions, and work with minimal supervision. OSHA-10 certification and a valid driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• OSHA 10 certification is required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 80 lbs occasionally.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel, including overnight stays, are essential.

Responsibilities

• Set up and dismantle concrete forms.
• Assist in pouring and finishing concrete.
• Read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Signal equipment operators for alignment and movement.
• Perform routine safety inspections and maintain a clean worksite.
• Operate hand and power tools and keep equipment/procedures compliant.
