Job summary

General Parts Group is seeking an Apprentice Field Service Technician to repair and maintain commercial kitchen equipment in schools, healthcare facilities, and restaurants. You will troubleshoot and service gas, electric, and steam systems, order parts, and participate in after-hours on-call rotations.

Applicants should have 2+ years of related experience, HVAC/R background, and EPA refrigeration certification if applicable. A valid driver’s license is required and safety rules apply.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience, education, or military training preferred.
• EPA certification (for refrigeration techs) is preferred or required.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record meeting safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment.
• Provide service solutions for gas, electric, and steam systems.
• Order and install replacement parts.
• Participate in after-hours & weekend on-call rotations.
