Orange Taco LLC in Houston, TX is seeking an Apprentice Chef to support critical kitchen operations during shifts, including prep, cleaning, inventory, and order fulfillment. This is a scratch kitchen where nothing is pre-made and standards are high.

This is not a line cook position; advancement to Commis Chef is earned through performance, with station ownership and competitive compensation as you grow. You must bring passion for ingredients, reliability, and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• Entry-level apprentice role with growth to Commis Chef.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to obtain Texas Food Handler card within 30 days.
• Six months or more in at least one prior role in kitchen, food service, or customer-facing.

Responsabilités

• Support kitchen operations during shifts: prep, cleaning, inventory.
• Assist with order fulfillment and guest interaction.
• Maintain station standards and efficiency.
• Learn and advance to Commis Chef based on performance.
