Job summary

Central Bank in Alabama is seeking an Appraisal Support Specialist to assist the Appraisal and lending teams with documentation, evaluations, and ordering appraisals.

The role involves coordinating with the Appraiser, ensuring accuracy in reports, and supporting compliance with banking regulations. Regular hours are Mon–Fri, 8:00am–5:00pm, with opportunities to assist across departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily work and projects related to Appraisal.
• May travel to assist with inspections and photos.
• Work closely with Appraiser to identify improvement areas and efficiency for the department and bank.
• Assist Credit Administration, Consumer Lending, and Commercial Lending as needed and as time permits.
• Daily direction on work from supervisory staff; reports to the Appraisal Officer.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations including Bank Secrecy Act and information security initiatives.
