Job summary

Leading Edge Connections, LLC. is seeking an Appointment Setter for an onsite, full-time role in Buffalo, NY. You will contact potential customers, schedule consultations about solar energy, and explain the value of setting an appointment with a solar specialist.

The ideal candidate has prior sales or lead-generation experience, strong verbal skills, and the ability to build rapport over the phone. Training is provided, with a 10:00 AM–7:00 PM ET schedule.

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM-7:00 PM Eastern Time

Pay: $16/hour plus commission

Training: 2 days of paid training

About The Role

We are hiring motivated and professional Appointment Setting Agents to contact potential customers and schedule appointments for consultations about how solar panels may help lower their monthly electric bills.

This is an onsite, full-time position based in Buffalo, New York. The ideal candidate is confident on the phone, comfortable speaking with new people, and able to clearly explain the value of setting an appointment with a solar specialist.

This role is a great fit for someone with previous sales, outbound calling, appointment setting, customer service, or lead generation experience.

Key Responsibilities

As An Appointment Setting Agent, You Will

• Place outbound calls to potential customers using company-provided leads.
• Introduce homeowners to the potential benefits of solar energy.
• Identify customer interest and determine whether they may qualify for a solar consultation.
• Schedule appointments for customers to speak with a solar specialist with provided leads.
• Accurately document call outcomes, customer details, appointment information, and follow-up notes.
• Follow approved scripts, call flows, and compliance guidelines.
• Maintain a professional, positive, and helpful tone on every call.
• Meet daily and weekly goals for calls, conversations, appointments, and quality.
• Participate in coaching, training, and performance feedback sessions.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous sales, appointment setting, telemarketing, lead generation, or outbound calling experience.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport quickly over the phone.
• Comfortable working in a goal-driven environment.
• Basic computer skills and ability to enter information accurately.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work onsite in Buffalo, NY.
• Availability to work full-time between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Saturday.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in solar, home improvement, energy, roofing, HVAC, windows, or related home services (a plus but not required)
• Experience using CRM systems or call center dialing platforms.
• Customer service experience in a call center or office environment.
• Ability to handle objections professionally and keep conversations positive.
• Experience working with performance goals, commissions, or sales incentives.

Bilingual Skills Are a Plus, But Not Required.
