Job summary

CHI Health Clinic is seeking an Appointment Scheduler to be the first point of contact for patients, coordinating their care and guiding them through the healthcare journey.

You will manage patient schedules, verify insurance and instructions, collect necessary data, and coordinate tests or referrals with compassionate support for diverse populations.

Effective communication and basic clinical understanding are essential to ensure smooth access to care across primary and specialty services.

Qualifications

• Two years of related experience in a healthcare environment.
• Willingness to complete onboarding and required checks upon hire.

• Answer phone calls and schedule patient appointments.
• Conduct patient pre-certification to ensure coverage for appointments and medical care.
• Schedule tests, procedures, and referral appointments.
• Communicate with patients regarding appointments and instructions for procedures and tests.
