Job summary

Port Corpus Christi Authority (PCCA) is seeking a dynamic professional to lead the research, development, and implementation of emerging technologies to enhance project delivery, and operational efficiency; will collaborate with various departments and administration to define and scope integrated, innovative solutions to complex challenges; while providing support to the Director of Planning.

The role requires directing IT-aligned initiatives, mentoring staff, ensuring on-time and on-budget

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience.
• Professional Project Management Certification preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TWIC during employment.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Leads efforts to solve complex challenges through creative integration of innovative technology and data.
• Enhances processes by integrating new software/workflows for automation and efficiency.
• Monitors project performance, ensuring delivery meets time, budget, and quality targets.
• Coordinates with IT on software purchases, licenses, security, and policy compliance.
• Establishes standards for implementing technologies in service delivery.
• Mentors staff on new tools and methodologies and guides cross-functional teams.
• Assists Director of Planning in budgeting for the Planning Department.
• Drives and manages multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities.
