Job summary

Port Corpus Christi Authority (PCCA) seeks a dynamic tech leader to drive research, development, and implementation of emerging technologies for project delivery and operations. You will collaborate across departments, define innovative solutions, and support the Director of Planning.

Essential functions include leading analytics, enhancing processes, coordinating IT for software and security, budgeting support, and mentoring staff across the Applied Technology Functional Area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field or equivalent education and work experience.
• PM certification preferred.
• Ability to obtain TWIC during employment.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to solve complex challenges using innovative technology and analytics.
• Improve business and operational processes via new software and workflows.
• Monitor technical performance of projects and manage competing priorities.
• Coordinate with IT on software purchases, licenses, and security.
• Set standards for implementing technologies in service delivery.
• Assess challenges and scope creative solutions with the right stakeholders.
• Assist Director of Planning with capital and expense budgeting.
• Mentor staff on new tools and methodologies.
• Lead and guide staff across the Applied Technology area.
• Evaluate staff performance and provide coaching and development.
• Operate vehicle as needed and meet shift requirements.
• Adhere to PCCA policies and SEAPORT values; support teamwork.
• CPR certified or able to become CPR certified within first year.
• Maintain Tier 3 status designation.
