Job summary

Aaru is seeking a Simulation Engineer to turn research ideas into production-grade systems in New York. You will implement the core simulation loops, model audiences and worlds, and build the infrastructure that scores accuracy and enables rapid deployment at scale.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years building ML/AI systems and hands-on experience with large language models in production. You will collaborate across engineering and product teams to ship ML-powered features in a fast, mission-driven

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience building ML/AI systems (research or applied).
• Experience with Large Language Models in production environments.
• Ability to move from hypothesis to evaluation to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Productionize the core simulation loop — audience generation, world modeling, response prediction.
• Design reusable abstractions: agent and population objects, simulation contracts and interfaces, evaluation harnesses.
• Build and own evaluation and accuracy infrastructure.
• Make simulations fast and cost-effective at scale.
• Partner with Simulation Research on hybrid LLM + classical architectures.
• Create workflows to deploy client simulations.
• Turn raw agent output into decision-ready artifacts for customers.
• Maintain engineering quality across a fast-moving codebase.
