Job summary

Amazon's Prime Video is seeking an Applied Scientist to advance content understanding through multimodal NLP and computer vision on long-form video assets. You will research and build models that capture cross-modal signals and temporal context to improve search, recommendations, and content enrichment for Prime Video.

You will contribute to the Content Localization, Understanding & Enrichment team, enabling accurate language options, accessibility features, and rich title information at scale.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of building models for business application experience.
• PhD, or Master's degree and 4+ years of CS, CE, ML or related field experience.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language.
• Experience developing and implementing deep learning algorithms, particularly with respect to computer vision algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Our team builds multi-modal machine learning technologies to enrich and understand video content.
• We aim to understand relationships between content components to provide holistic understanding and power video understanding and search for Prime Video.
