Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Applied Scientist within PXT Central Science to build production ML systems at scale, solving business problems for millions of Amazonians. You will design, develop, and deploy ML solutions spanning predictive modeling, computer vision, NLP, and recommender systems.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Experience building ML models for business applications.
• Experience researching ML, deep learning, NLP, computer vision, data science.
• Proficiency in Java, C++, Python.

Responsibilities

• Apply state-of-the-art techniques to solve defined problems in employee experience.
• Design, develop, and implement ML components with guidance from senior scientists.
• Write secure, maintainable production code (SDE I level).
