Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s degree with 4+ years in CS, CE or ML.
• Experience with patents or top-tier publications.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python.
• Strong foundations in algorithms, data structures, and numerical optimization.
• Unix/Linux experience and professional software development background.

Responsibilities

• Identify and frame new research challenges in AI security where problems are ill-defined.
• Contribute to the team’s scientific agenda for agent monitoring, protection, remediation, validation research, and asset discovery.
• Publish research results at peer-reviewed venues when appropriate.
• Articulate scientific challenges of AI security threats and deliver novel research to address them.
• Design and deliver scientifically complex security solutions into production.
• Write portions of critical-path code for detection models, validation engines, protection technologies, and asset discovery/classification systems.
• Assess and select technologies for production systems (data protection, inference, anomaly detection, service classification).
• Follow best practices in scientific methodology and software engineering; provide peer reviews.
• Deliver inventive, maintainable, scalable, extensible solutions.
