Job summary

Amazon Science in Seattle is seeking an Applied Scientist with AI/ML expertise to advance catalog expansion. You will research and develop novel ML approaches to improve catalogue coverage and product attributes, design state-of-the-art models, and translate breakthroughs into production-ready solutions.

Work closely with ML Engineers and Software Development Engineers to optimize performance, ensure scalability, and deploy low-latency models at scale.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building models for business applications.
• PhD or Master's with 4+ years in CS/CE/ML.
• Publications or patents in top-tier venues.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python.
• Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, parsing, optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing.

Responsibilities
