Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Applied Scientist to advance Last Mile labor planning and supply chain optimization. You will design and evaluate experiments, develop models, and measure impact across production systems, collaborating with software engineers and leaders to drive cost, speed and reliability improvements.

The role requires strong optimization/ML background, with experience in Java/C++/Python.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of building models for business application experience.
• PhD or Master’s with 4+ years in CS/CE/ML.
• Experience with patents or publications at top-tier venues.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language.
• Experience in algorithms, data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel/distributed/high-performance computing.
