Amazon Advertising LLC in New York, NY seeks an Applied Scientist to advance generative AI methods for advertising imagery and video. You will develop novel ML approaches, build production-ready interfaces, and collaborate with product managers to shape advertiser-facing tools.

Applicants should have a PhD or Master’s in a related field, strong publication experience, and proficiency in Python/Java/C++. You will mentor peers and have opportunities to publish and contribute IP.

Competenze

• PhD or Master's in CS/CE/ML or related field.
• Patents or publications at top-tier conferences or journals.
• Programming in Java, C++, Python or related language.
• Experience in algorithms, data structures, numerical optimization, data mining, and HPC.
• Experience building ML models for business applications.
• Experience with experimental design.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, C++.
• Experience with researching and developing human-in-the-loop systems.

Mansioni

• Develop ML/GenAI methods to augment generative imagery and videos for ads.
• Develop end-to-end proof-of-concept ML projects with ambiguity, scale, and complexity.
• Build interface-oriented systems to productionize ML models with software engineers.
• Run A/B experiments, collect data, and perform statistical analysis.
• Create scalable data analysis and model development/validation processes.
• Mentor and assist in recruiting Applied Scientists.
• Present results and explain methods to senior leadership.
