Job summary

Ring, an Amazon company, seeks an Applied Scientist to advance computer vision and ML for Ring devices. You will develop optimized data-driven models, work on multi-modal models, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver impactful features across Ring devices.

The role requires advanced degrees and 4+ years in CS/ML, with publications preferred. You will participate in deploying models at scale, influence system design, and contribute to Skyworth-like safety and performance

Qualifications

• PhD or Master's degree in CS, CE, ML or related field.
• 4+ years of related experience in ML or CS.
• Publications in top-tier venues or journals.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design, development, evaluation, deployment and updating of data-driven models for computer vision applications.
• Research and implement state-of-the-art computer vision and Vision Language models algorithms.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to design and implement computer vision and ML-based features for Ring devices.
• Influence system design and product vision by selecting technology, data sources, algorithms, and sensors.
