Job summary

GCS is seeking a Data Scientist with hands-on Generative AI, LLMs, NLP, and CV to help build multilingual AI translation solutions. You will fine-tune models, develop scalable AI pipelines, and collaborate with SRE and product teams to deploy production-ready systems.

Ideal candidates will have production ML experience, strong Python skills, and a background in NLP/Generative AI; OCR and Vision experience is a plus. This role emphasizes hands-on model development over prompt engineering.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building and deploying ML/AI solutions in production.
• Strong knowledge of LLMs and model fine-tuning.
• Background in NLP, ML, DL, or Generative AI.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with OCR, Computer Vision, MLOps or model hosting is a plus.
• Hands-on role, not just prompt engineering.

Project Overview

Join a fast-paced team developing AI-powered translation platforms that process text, images, and video content across 130+ languages. You'll work on fine-tuning LLMs, optimizing OCR and vision models, and building scalable AI solutions that automate translation workflows with minimal human intervention.
