Clipboard is seeking an Applied Science Manager to build and lead its Applied Science function, owning the roadmap and vision across the marketplace. You will lead a small team of Applied Scientists and grow the function, defining metrics and producing models and experiments used by product and engineering.

You will hire and develop the team, balance production work with analytical impact, and work closely with PMs, operators, and leadership to maximize value delivered by causal models, pricing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience building and deploying quantitative models.
• Fluency querying data directly with SQL or an equivalent tool.
• Experience designing and analyzing controlled experiments.
• 1-3 years of experience managing or leading a team.

Responsabilités

• Own the roadmap and vision for Clipboard's Applied Science function.
• Lead a small team of Applied Scientists and mentor them.
• Define key metrics, measurement approaches, and reporting for marketplace performance.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, finance, and operations; balance production work with analysis.
• Hire and develop the Applied Science team and push for impactful IC work when needed.
