Point72 Asset Management, L.P. is seeking a subject matter expert to join its Intelligence team. You will design applied research, conduct assessments, and deliver actionable recommendations to senior leaders across the firm.

This role requires a PhD in cognitive psychology or related field, strong written and verbal communication, and experience turning interview data into evidence-based judgments. Collaboration across departments and ethical standards are essential.

Qualifications

• PhD in cognitive psychology or related field required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate complex concepts for senior stakeholders.
• Experience designing, evaluating, and interpreting qualitative and quantitative assessments and organizational data.
• Experience conducting structured interviews and translating data into evidence-based assessments.
• Strong critical thinking and bias mitigation abilities.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and provide clear recommendations.
• Willingness to learn the financial services industry; prior financial services experience not required.
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Apply domain expertise to support identifying, assessing, and interviewing candidates.
• Develop and implement research-driven assessment tools and processes.
• Synthesize findings, author reports, and provide high-quality recommendations for senior leaders.
• Serve as a technical advisor in psychology and brief internal stakeholders on processes.
• Identify and integrate emerging research to improve internal processes.
