Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 6+ years post PhD.
• Appointment is generally for an indefinite period; appointees will usually possess a Ph.D. and have completed one or two terms as a Research Associate or one term as an Associate Scientist or have equivalent qualification and/or experience.
• Position requires the exercise of scientific and technical judgment. Duties will require application of advanced experience. Has independent judgement and limited to Supervisor/Manager approval.

• Isolate and define problems, test and evaluate solutions; operate facilities per safety specs.
• Provide technical advice to Technicians and other scientists on methods, troubleshooting, results, and follow-up experiments.
• Advanced modeling and simulation tool use.
• Prepare technical reports and papers on R&D activities.
• May participate in laboratory reviews and safety committees.
• Abide by EH&S regulations and practices.
