Overview

Full Time Adapted Physical Education Teacher with HealthPro Pediatrics in New Orleans!

  • Start date: 8/11/2025 - End date 5/22/2026
  • Across 2 school networks (4 campuses)
  • Caseloads per school: 15-20
  • Grades: Pk-8th
  • Arrival and dismissal at schools: 8am-3pm
  • Every Wednesday most schools close an hour early
  • Pay rate competitive pay, W2, Full Benefits, Continuous year-round employment

Responsibilities
  • Consult and collaborate with School staff and families in regards to students’ educational deficits
  • Conduct initial screenings as well as comprehensive evaluations Participate in the IEP process in developing present levels of performance, goals and objectives, and treatment recommendations for students qualifying for Special Education services
  • Provide Special Education sessions through the use of current best practices based on prescribed services in the IEP
  • Maintain all documentation required by the district including, but not limited to, notes, monthly summaries, and annual IEP’s
