Glendale Community College in Glendale, CA, seeks a part-time Applied Music Instructor for the Visual and Performing Arts Division to teach in Fall 2026.
Requirements include a Master’s in Music or a Bachelor's in Music with a Master’s in Humanities, plus verifiable experience teaching at an accredited college in class piano, music fundamentals, or music appreciation. TA-only experience will not be considered. GCCD does not sponsor visas; position open until filled.
The Visual and Performing Arts Division is currently accepting applications for a part-time Applied Music Instructor.
The teaching assignment will be for Fall 2026.
Master1s in music, OR Bachelor1s in music AND Master1s in humanities, OR the equivalent, together with verifiable experience at an accredited academic institution teaching one of the following: class piano, music fundamentals, music appreciation, or courses with similar content. Candidates whose only experience is as a teaching assistant will not be considered.
