Job summary

raydar, a Series B AI company based in New York, is seeking a Member of Technical Staff in Applied ML to own end-to-end projects and ship autonomous multi-agent systems. The role is on-site in Flatiron, NYC, five days a week, with visa transfers and sponsorship available for eligible candidates.

You will design multi-agent architectures, build scalable evaluation pipelines, and instrument the stack to detect regressions, driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 4–12 years of ML engineering experience with end-to-end LLM-based agent applications.
• Experience at fast-paced startups or leading technology companies.
• Experience running structured ML experiments and building evaluation infrastructure.
• CS/Physics/Math or related technical degree from a top school.

Responsibilities

• Design and iterate multi-agent architectures with autonomy boundaries and safe, reliable tool use.
• Build scalable offline and online evaluation pipelines with metrics and labeled tasks.
• Instrument the stack to detect regressions and drive closed-loop improvements.
• Scope projects, write concise specs, and communicate progress within the pod.
