Appointment is temporary and dependent on department needs and enrollments. Applicants should hold MS/MA in Health, Kinesiology, Health Education or Nutrition or related field, with demonstrated teaching experience in health

Qualifications

MS/MA in Health, Kinesiology, Health Education, Nutrition or related field required with successful teaching experience in health education and work related to health promotion.
MS/MA in PE, Kinesiology or related field with mastery in subject matter and successful university teaching experience required; some courses may require an Athletic Training Certificate.
For Recreation Administration Courses, MS or MA in Recreation, Leisure Studies or closely related field with minimum one year of university teaching experience required; certifications like Wilderness First Responder and CPR/First Aid may be required; PhD or progress toward PhD preferred.

Responsibilities

Teach Health, Kinesiology, Education, Nutrition or related health promotion courses as part of a temporary lecturer pool.
Contribute to curriculum development and student engagement in assigned courses.
Meet ongoing review dates and qualifications per program needs.
