Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience working in a higher education setting with a focus on student success.
• Commitment to teaching excellence in health and human sciences related subject areas.
• Awareness of and sensitivity to the educational goals of a multicultural population.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate Health & Human Sciences classes, including listed courses.
• Participate in ongoing assessment of student learning to improve teaching and adherence to accreditation.
• Work collaboratively on health science curriculum processes to ensure quality, rigor, relevance, and consistency.
• Attend team meetings and training sessions as required.
• Establish and maintain a high-quality, inclusive, student-centered learning environment.
• Utilize the Canvas LMS to ensure faculty-student connection and online access for all classes.
• Demonstrate awareness of diverse student needs through inclusive materials and advisement.
• Organize all classes within Canvas and ensure scheduling as listed in the schedule of classes.
