Job summary

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Economics, Applied Economics, Agricultural Economics, or a closely related field by the start of the appointment; ABD candidates encouraged.
• Ability to teach core undergraduate economics courses effectively.
• Evidence of scholarly activity or a plan for continued research.

Responsibilities

• Teach the core economics sequence (Principles of Microeconomics and Macroeconomics) and related courses on a rotating basis.
• Advise and mentor students; engage undergraduates in scholarly work and service activities.
• Maintain an active program of research and contribute to the School, University, and community.
