Job summary

Charles River Analytics, a GRVTY company, seeks an MLOps Software Engineer to join a customer on-site as an embedded technical analyst. You will customize AI agent training configurations, tailor agent-based simulation backends, and help define analytical problems with military-focused requirements.

The role emphasizes customer-facing applied AI, wargaming, and domain-specific language configuration, with a path toward contributing to product development and ongoing field support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• Graduate-level degree preferred
• Experience in AI agent reinforcement learning and agent-based simulation
• Understanding and configuring agent roles, goals, and behaviors in a simulation
• Experience with deployment engineering, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud deployment (AWS gov cloud) and monitoring systems
• Ability to translate customer needs into product requirements and acceptance criteria
• Active or eligible for a security clearance as required by contract

Responsibilities

• Customize AI agent training configurations and tailor agent-based simulation backends
• Define analytical problems with customers and model agent behaviors
• Configure agent runtime settings, data/context sources, and integration points
• Evaluate agent outputs and identify shortcomings in DSL or architecture
• Communicate complex agent behaviors to non-developer military users
• Support field issues with engineering teams and document uncertainties
