Job summary

Thread AI, Inc. is seeking an Applied AI Strategist to bridge our composable AI infrastructure with complex customer operations. Based in New York City, you will deploy the Lemma platform and craft AI solutions that deliver measurable impact for enterprises.

You will work with a team of Applied Engineers to synthesize workflows, identify bottlenecks, and articulate value, while engaging stakeholders from technical leads to executives. This is a full-time in-person role in NYC.

Responsibilities

• Deep-Dive discovery with customer stakeholders to identify bottlenecks and high-leverage AI opportunities.
• Architect and configure customized agents and workflows using the Lemma platform.
• Assist customers in connecting APIs, data sources, and models to the Lemma platform.
• Lead training sessions to ensure AI solutions meet user needs and deliver impact.
• Present deployment results and roadmap recommendations to technical and executive audiences.
• Collaborate with engineering and design to feed field intelligence into the Thread platform.
• Build and deliver demos, scoping engagements in new verticals.

About The Role

As an Applied AI Strategist at Thread AI, you will work as the connective tissue between our composable AI infrastructure and the complex realities of our customers' businesses. You will join a driven team of Applied Engineers to deploy our platform against the most critical operational challenges enterprises face today.

Your mission is to synthesize disconnected workflows and raw ambition into a clear understanding of what the problem is, how AI agents can solve it, and where the measurable impact lies. You will immerse yourself in our customers' most intricate processes, architecting AI solutions that transform how they work. This role requires a curious and analytical approach, a sharp intuition for value-oriented agentic workflows, and a strong degree of user empathy to ultimately empower our customers to build better.

No two days are the same, but you can expect to:

• Deep-Dive Discovery: Go onsite and meet with customer stakeholders to understand the critical bottlenecks they face and locate high-leverage opportunities for AI automation.

• Solution Architecture: Use the Lemma platform to build customized agents and workflows. You will be hands-on with the tools, configuring logic and integrations to solve specific user problems.

• Technical Integration: Work closely with our Applied AI Engineering team to assist customers to connect APIs, datasources, and models easily into the Lemma platform.

• User Enablement: Lead training sessions to ensure that the AI solutions are meeting user needs and having a concrete impact on their operations.

• Strategic Reporting: Present the results of deployments and proposals for future roadmap items to audiences ranging from technical leads to C-suite executives.

• Product Feedback Loop: Embed with our Software Engineering and Product Design teams to incorporate "field intelligence" into the core Thread AI platform.

• Scope & Scale: Build and deliver demos to new and existing customers, scoping out potential engagements in new verticals.

Compensation

$145,000 - $200,000 + Equity

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or national or U.S. lawful, permanent resident.
