Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Software Engineer, Applied AI (Starlink) to build and maintain web applications for the UXSW team. You will deliver responsive interfaces across mobile and web, support Starlink customers, and contribute to an LLM-powered chatbot to help users before contacting support.

You will work in a .NET micro-service architecture deployed on Kubernetes, with full-stack responsibilities and a focus on performance, reliability, and observability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a STEM discipline and 1+ years of experience building full-stack software; OR 3+ years of professional experience building full-stack software in lieu of a degree.
• Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Front-end experience in React or similar JavaScript framework
• Database experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar database technologies

Responsibilities

• Develop well-architected, responsive, and performant web applications
• Develop highly reliable and available software systems for Starlink
• Design and implement highly available, fault-tolerant networks at scale
• Deliver expert level TypeScript React code for modern browsers
• Full stack application development in a .NET micro-service architecture in Kubernetes
• Focus on monitoring and alerting to drive data-driven decisions
• Collaborate with internal partners to drive successful outcomes
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to advance process in architecture and code reviews
• Deep dive into users’ problems to create efficient solutions
• Participate in team discussions on architecture and code reviews
