Gen is seeking a Senior Manager, Applied AI Research to lead hands-on technical teams delivering AI solutions that protect hundreds of millions of users worldwide. You will shape architectures, guide model training, and oversee end-to-end production pipelines across SLMs, RL, agentic AI, CV and classical ML.

You will mentor 3–5 Research Engineers, drive delivery, and collaborate with Platform, MLOps, and Product Engineering to ensure production deployments meet security, reliability and impact

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years hands-on experience building and deploying ML systems in production.

• Provide hands-on technical leadership across multiple applied AI workstreams.
• Drive architecture, modeling choices and productionization decisions with your team.
• Manage, mentor and grow a small team of ML/Research Engineers, including hiring and career development.
• Own the full applied-AI lifecycle from problem framing to deployment and monitoring.
• Set practices for experiment tracking, evaluation, reproducibility and responsible AI in cybersecurity environments.
