United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an Operations Engineer, Applied AI (Application Software). This hybrid role blends strong technical depth with the ability to empower internal teams to deploy AI-powered solutions while prioritizing safety and responsible deployment.

You will work with Sales, Product, and Engineering to explore platforms, design tests, and build robust system designs for LLM-based products.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in a STEM or engineering field required.
• 1+ years in engineering or operations/process development.
• Hands-on experience supporting cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
• Experience shipping real-world applications using large language models and related ML tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal teams to understand needs and design technical approaches.
• Act as technical lead, coordinating with teams to ensure strong outcomes.
• Build prototypes and POC applications to illustrate integration with AI platforms.
• Advise on system architecture and support development of AI-powered applications.
• Stay current with evolving LLM technologies and best practices.
