Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in Applied AI to lead production-grade AI initiatives for private equity clients and their portfolio companies. You will guide technical and non-technical teams through architecture, development, deployment, and adoption of AI solutions and the supporting data infrastructure.

You’ll mentor and coach your team, ensure quality and risk management, and drive process improvements across client engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4–6 years relevant experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Experience deploying AI/ML solutions on AWS/Azure/GCP and data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks).
• Gen AI development: LLM APIs, retrieval augmented generation, agentic workflows, prompt engineering.
• Proficiency in MLOps and DevSecOps tooling (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD).
• Experience building data/ML pipelines (Spark, Kafka) for prod workloads.

Responsibilities

• Lead workstream delivery — architect, build, ship AI solutions and track status.
• Manage engagement economics and resource planning.
• Conduct code/design reviews and mentor team.
• Identify opportunites for additional services and lead RFP responses.
