Job summary

Samsung Electronics America is seeking an Applied AI Lead to help drive business transformation through AI use cases. You will own end-to-end AI projects, from discovery to production, collaborating with business teams to deliver measurable ROI and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities include building AI automation, writing Python pipelines, and evaluating model and tool choices while staying current with AI/ML trends. Strong Python and API experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related field; Master's with AI/ML focus is a plus.
• 2–4 years of experience in AI/ML development, software engineering, or similar technical role.
• Hands-on experience with major AI platforms such as Claude Code, Gemini, or ChatGPT APIs; familiarity with agentic workflows and MCP servers is a plus.
• Strong Python skills with libraries such as LangChain, Pandas, NumPy.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI automation solutions across platforms and workflows.
• Write, test, and maintain Python code across AI/ML pipelines and data processing tasks.
• Collaborate with business teams to identify AI use cases and turn problems into technical solutions.
• Own use cases from discovery to production rollout, including scoping, testing, and deployment.
• Track ROI and KPI performance, iterate on models and prompts based on results.
• Identify risks and blockers; contribute to decisions on model selection and system scalability.
• Stay updated on AI/ML tooling and share findings with the team.
