Job summary

Capital One is seeking an Applied Researcher I in McLean, VA to advance AI across banking products. You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers and product managers to deliver scalable AI-powered experiences.

You will work with PyTorch, AWS Ultraclusters, Huggingface, Lightning and VectorDBs to train and deploy large models, advancing state-of-the-art methods. A PhD or MS with applied research experience is required.

Qualifications

• PhD in relevant fields or MS with 2 years of applied research experience
• Experience building large deep learning models and training optimization
• Familiar with open-source tools and cloud computing platforms

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional team to deliver AI-powered products
